About us

Experienced hands behind a more natural goodbye.

We believe every person deserves an end-of-life option that honors both their life and the world they leave behind. We help funeral homes offer exactly that.

Our mission

We return the body to the natural cycle of life through environmentally responsible care, while giving exceptional support to the funeral professionals and families we serve.

Through terramation and water cremation, we help funeral homes offer meaningful, sustainable choices that reflect the values of today's families.

Trusted experience

We partner with funeral homes throughout Colorado and across the United States, providing terramation and water cremation with professionalism, transparency, and ease.

Our team has carried out hundreds of terramations and water cremations, and that experience shows in the details: help with paperwork and scheduling, timely communication, and meticulous care at every step, whether you are a local funeral home or serving a family from another state.

Every funeral home should be able to offer sustainable options without the complexity of running these systems themselves. When you partner with us, you gain a team that cares for every person with dignity and supports your staff as an extension of your own.

Part of The Natural Funeral

The Natural Transition is owned by The Natural Funeral, the pioneer of natural after-death care in Colorado. It was the first funeral home in the state to offer water cremation and helped lead the 2021 effort that made terramation legal here.

Our work takes place at its Care Center in Arvada, by the same people who care for its own families.
